Cardiff on show in New York City
Cardiff will join other major UK destinations to showcase the best the country has to offer to travellers from the United States. Cardiff & Co representatives will be promoting the city at the Destination Britain North America event from 26th to 28th September in New York City.
The New York event will be followed by briefer visits to Philadelphia and Washington DC to promote the capital of Wales.
The event includes a series of one-to-one meetings with North American buyers and journalists.
Richard Thomas, managing director of Cardiff & Co said: “These events are expremely useful in establishing contact and building relationships with the people in the U.S. and Canada who make decisions about travel destinations. We also get the chance to meet journalists and share with them information about the Cardiff city region.”
