The city-region’s position as an academic centre of excellence has been further enhanced with another award for one of our universities.  UWIC - the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff has been rated as the sixth most popular university in the UK in the City Life Category according to reviews submitted by its students on the ‘Whatuni.com’ site. To give some perspective to this achievement, over 300 institutions/universities in the UK formed part of the Whatuni.com review.

The review is undertaken by ‘Hotcourses’ – the UK’s leading website for school-leavers - attracting over 2 million visits a year.  Over 7,000 past and present students in the UK contributed to the review which consists of ten questions relating to various aspects of their time at university. The findings which are published on the ‘Whatuni’ web site are seen as influential in assisting future students decide on their choice of university. Congratulations UWIC!
