Ambassadors honoured at Gala Dinner
Over 250 guests gathered at the magnificent National Museum in Cardiff on 5 November to honour the People’s Ambassador of the Year and the Cardiff Ambassador of the Year 2009. The event was also a celebration of the Cardiff Ambassadors’ Programme - conceived by Cardiff & Co to spread the word that Cardiff is an excellent place to live, visit, invest, study and play. City gets seal approval from Swiss Ambassador
The Swiss Ambassador will arrive in Cardiff later this month as part of a delegation from Switzerland holding their annual general meetings in the capital. To mark their arrival in the city on 19 June, the Ambassador for Switzerland in the UK, Alexis P Lautenberg will attend a concert at St David’s Hall by BBC’s National Orchestra of Wales and the BBC Chorus under the Swiss principal conductor, Geneva-born Thierry Fischer.
