Partners Aerial Filming Proposal
Cardiff & Co is intending to purchase some high quality aerial moving picture photography over the next few months. It will be filmed to international broadcast standards and mastered in High Definition Digital video.
We will be spending approx 2 hrs flying over Cardiff and an opportunity exists to add on increments of 5 minutes flying time to film extra attractions or spend additional time over specific sites within the Cardiff area.
Adding on flying time is significantly cheaper than commissioning your own aerial shoot to this standard from scratch. Cardiff & Co is already covering the cost of the film crew, equipment hire, flying to and from location which represents 70 percent of the charges.
If you have a site, attraction or development within the Cardiff area for which you would like some aerial footage we have developed an ‘add-on’ package with the production company at a cost of £1450 + VAT which incorporates:
• 1 x Aerial circuit around your site from 1000ft
• 1 x close up of your site (camera system will film a person from 1000ft with no picture vibration)
• 1 x alternative approach of your site revealing context/surroundings
• Total footage time estimated at 1 minute mastered to Standard
• 5 additional shots from the Cardiff & Co aerial archive of Cardiff to assist with context.
Delivery items include:
• 1 x Digital Betacam for broadcaster and promo/video producer usage
• 1 x MPEG file format of footage for presentations/lower cost editing
