Marketing Resources

Cardiff & Co can provide a range of marketing Resources to help you raise the profile of Cardiff or assist you with your conference proposals and/or event. We also work closely with the conference service divisions of the three universities – UWIC, Cardiff University and University of Glamorgan -who can provide conference planning and support services for conferences taking place at either the university venues or within the Cardiff city region.

Visit Wales can also offer additional Wales information, marketing support and impartial advice to assist you with your conference plans and arrangements. Find out more about Visit Wales' services here.
 
We can help you raise Cardiff’s profile by giving you access to the following marketing Resources.
 
• Cardiff postcards - to help the organiser promote the conference to potential delegates
• Cardiff copy – editorial copy available on Cardiff available for Media releases or other usage: 100, 200 & 300 words (pdf files 20kb) If you would like to receive this copy in word document format, please contact us directly ambassadors@cardiffandco.com.
• Cardiff Venue Directory - Available by request or to download.

Support Services

We can help you secure new investment or attract a conference or event by providing the following services:

• venue searches – hotel and venue finding service
• online Accommodation booking – facility of online housing for conference delegates
• bid preparation – from providing letters of support from civic or governmental dignitaries, downloadable information, images and other collateral through to support during the bid process
• inspection visits – help in organising site visits to venues and hotels
• social/partner programmes – ideas on evening functions, activities and pre or post tours
• support services – advice and listing of local suppliers for specific services such as event and conference management services, entertainment, technical suppliers etc.
• access/transportation – information on road, rail and air access plus local transportation within the city
• quality service – your enquiry or request for support will be handled by highly-skilled staff members, at the Cardiff Convention Bureau, who are prepared to work closely with Ambassadors to ensure that each request is dealt with on a bespoke basis and to the highest quality

If you have been successful in bringing your conference or event to Cardiff we can help you with some extra support to help encourage delegate participation. We can also help you as Ambassadors to pull together bespoke information as required.
