St David's

After nine years of planning and building, the newly opened St David's welcomed 1.4 million visitors in its first week. Shoppers were eager to explore the new stores which include Apple, Hugo Boss, All Saints, Radley, Kurt Geiger and Quiksilver. Alongside the twenty-five names new to Wales, St David’s also welcomed many established Cardiff favourites who have either relocated or opened a second store, including H&M, Peacocks (new 10,000 sq ft store), Fat Face, Disney Store and New Look.

Taking inspiration from the grand arcades of Milan, as well as Cardiff's very own Victorian and Edwardian arcades, the new St David's Grand Arcade is 240m long. Running north to south and bi-sected by Eastside (Bridge Street Arcade) and Hayes Arcade, it is topped with a glass atrium roof.  Anchored  by Debenhams at the northern end and John Lewis - the largest store outside of London – at the south.

Find The Hayes with its coveted designer labels and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Or take a stroll down St David’s Walk and St David’s Way and find the new-look Debenhams along with favourites M & S and Boots.
For the best in high street names find all you need and more in Grand Arcade. Running right through the centre of St David’s you’re sure to find plenty of inspiration as you wander through this buzzing hub of on-trend ideas from H&M, Cult and Oasis. Add in the flagship John Lewis - Wales’ biggest ever department store with a fabulous ladies’ fashion floor - and the wealth of up-market fashion, accessory and jewellery boutiques along
Hayes Arcade, and you’re spoilt for choice.
